The General Assembly of the Kosciuszko Society took place on the 8th of November 2019 in Solothurn, in the Rittersaal (Knight's Hall).
News in the Museum
Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, we are pleased to inform you, that the Kosciuszko Museum has grown in surface area.
In the year 2018, it was possible to add the study of General Kosciuszko to the Museum, a room that was used in the past by different companies and in the last years by a private person.
The financial support of the Solbet company from Solec Kujawski, which will sponsor the new room for the Kosciuszko Society, with a contract for the next 10 years, made a new rental contract with the house owner possible. So we could add this part of the previous apartment of Kosciuszko to the Museum. There is a beautiful, antique, probably 230-years-old wardrobe, made of walnut wood, used by Kosciuszko himself. At the moment the surface area of the Museum corresponds with the apartment of Kosciuszko in the year 1815.
In conclusion we would like to thank the Solbet company for the great dedication.
